Bodhi of the Parable - Tireded

Very well,

Just so you know I am specifically a Lutheran Christian, so if some of the stuff I'm about to say seems like heresy to other Christians, just note we are probably different denominations.
The most important thing that Christians believe in is Jesus Christ.
Jesus was God's son and he is the only man to have never sinned. He is human because he experienced emotions like humans, he felt pain like humans, and he had a physical body like a human.
He was born in a barn because every other inn was already full and could not take Mary and Joseph.
As He grew up, He did many things. Such as when He was 12 years old, Jesus and His family and friends went on a Passover pilgrimage to Jerusalem. When it was time to go, He stayed and listened to the scholars that were there. When Mary realized that Jesus wasn't with her, she came back to Jerusalem to find Him. When she did find Him, she said: "Son, why have You done this to us? Look, Your father and I have sought You anxiously.” To which Jesus replied: “Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?”
When He was about 30 years old, He was Baptized. Although because He was a perfect human, He didn't need to be. But because He wanted to live the life of a mortal human, He got baptized anyway.
Between His baptism and His death, Jesus made many miracles happen.
Such as:
Curing people with leprocy
Making a blind man see
Bringing dead people back to life
and much, much more
However, the Romans (which ruled the Jerusalem area at the time) were not pleased that someone was preaching a false faith that went against the government. They tried Jesus, even though He did nothing wrong, and found Him guilty.
He then experienced the worse pain a human can endure.
He was forced to wear a crown of thorns which caused his head to bleed profusely. He was whipped on the back multiple times creating nasty gashes on His back. He was forced to carry His own cross which would kill Him later.
Then,
He was nailed on that cross through his wrists and ankles, where He had no kind of cushioning.
He was crucified next to two criminals. One of them said, "You are the true son of God, save yourself and us both!"
Jesus ignored him.
The other criminal said "Have you no fear of God, for you are subject to the same condemnation? And indeed, we have been condemned justly, for the sentence we received corresponds to our crimes, but this man has done nothing criminal."
Then he said, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom."
Jesus responded:
"You will be with me in Paradise."
A couple minutes later, Jesus was thirsty and asked for a drink.
They gave Him a sponge soaked in wine, to which He drank.
He then said: "It is finished."
and He died.
Not only did he die to show that he was the true Messiah, but much more importantly, he died to save everyone on Earth from their sins. When you have sinned, even one that is very small, sends you straight to hell.
So, this is the reason why I am a Christian, Jesus inspires me to live a life like his.
Also SPOILER ALERT: Jesus gets resurrected.
