1. We were all furious when your commendation was repealed! Were you as pissed as us?
2. Earlier you mentioned you're still on NS mostly to make a unique contribution and hang out with people you enjoy... what makes you and your contributions unique? And...
3. What makes a person enjoyable to hang out with?

Those are great questions!

1. We were all furious when your commendation was repealed! Were you as pissed as us? I was a little angry, definitely. I understand the political reasons behind the Repeal, but I still had hoped it would fail, given that it had originally passed by such a wide margin. Those who pushed the Repeal said that I deserved a better Commendation. I hope they were sincere. I guess we'll see when a new Commendation is brought forward. In my opinion, the quality of the resolution should be addressed when it is originally presented. If the concerns over its quality are not sufficient to prevent it from being approved, so be it. A Commendation should only be repealed if there has been a change in circumstances that make the subject no longer commendable.

2. Earlier you mentioned you're still on NS mostly to make a unique contribution and hang out with people you enjoy... what makes you and your contributions unique? I think like most players who have been here a while and have achieved a few things, I would now like to leave something lasting. I've done so in a number of instances. I'm very proud that I helped Alti and her team create Karma,. I've helped form the culture in TSR and Albion, and did create some lasting institutions in TWP when I was Delegate. Recently, I founded Edlhus, which is the only NS region focused on the NS family. :-)

3. What makes a person enjoyable to hang out with? I think anyone who is kind can be an enjoyable companion. Some people are more fun and out-going than others, but one can have a great time with the quiet people too. Shared ideas are great, but even when people differ, they can have a good time with each other as long as there is respect ... and kindness.

4. Just cuz I'm curious now... what color is your halo? Gold (or yellow) :-D

5. What's a skill you wish you had or could improve? I wish I were less awkward socially sometimes. I am worthless when it comes to pop culture!

What are you most proud of? Irl, I'm most proud of how great my kids are. They're really good people! In NS, I guess I'm most proud of my reputation for being a nice guy. :-)
Do you think 'all things in moderation' is a good statement of advice? I do ... except for frosting. One should never moderate when frosting is involved! :-D
What is your opinion on common sense? In my opinion, common sense is the most valuable mental quality. It comes in handy more often than education, memory, aesthtic sense, etc.

Halo, you have played the game for years now with University and Family on the brain. You've even started a region which caters to families. To me this makes sense because to me Family is all about helping one another and growing together. Is that what it means to you too?
